Student Handbook

Consummare High School

A private Christian high school for adults. This handbook outlines the academic standards, expectations, and policies that govern our community.

Our Sponsor

Consummare High School operates under the sponsorship of Tangible Word International Fellowship (TWIF) — a church with a strong emphasis on biblical literacy, education, and missions. TWIF's commitment to grounding believers in God's Word and equipping them for faithful service led it to establish this school, extending rigorous, Christ-centered education to adult learners. The church's vision of forming disciples through biblical literacy, education, and missions is the foundation upon which this institution is built.

Mission & Identity

Consummare High School is a private Christian high school for adults over 23 years of age who are returning to complete their secondary education. We provide a supportive, faith-centered environment where mature students can earn a recognized high school diploma while growing in character, knowledge, and purpose.

Our mission is to equip adult learners with the academic foundation and spiritual grounding needed to pursue further education, meaningful employment, and a life of service - fulfilling the call to "whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31).

Who We Serve. Consummare specializes in adult learners who have five or fewer classes remaining to complete their high school diploma. This focused approach allows us to give each student the close, individualized attention needed to finish well. Students with greater coursework needs are welcome and will be considered on a case-by-case basis; prospective applicants with more extensive requirements are encouraged to contact the admissions office to discuss a personalized plan before enrolling.

Academic Standards & DPI Alignment

Consummare High School aligns its curriculum and academic standards with the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) academic guidelines for the State of Wisconsin. Course offerings, credit requirements, and graduation benchmarks are designed to meet or exceed the expectations set forth by Wisconsin DPI for adult high school completion programs.

Students completing the full program of study and satisfying all credit and assessment requirements will be awarded a high school diploma in accordance with Wisconsin DPI standards.

Grading Scale

Academic performance is measured on the following scale. Grades are reported each term and contribute to the student's cumulative GPA.

A grade of "F" (below 60%) is failing and does not award credit. Students may repeat a course to replace a failing grade.

Behavioral Expectations

As a community of adult learners united by shared Christian values, students are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and responsibility at all times - whether on campus, in the virtual classroom, or representing the school in the community.

  • Respect - Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with courtesy and dignity at all times.
  • Integrity - Complete all academic work honestly. Plagiarism and cheating are grounds for disciplinary action.
  • Responsibility - Attend sessions, complete assignments on time, and communicate proactively with instructors.
  • Punctuality - Arrive on time and prepared for all classes and scheduled assessments.
  • Edifying Speech - Use language that builds others up. Profanity, slander, and gossip are not tolerated.
  • Modesty & Professionalism - Dress and present yourself in a manner appropriate to an academic and faith-based setting.

Drug & Alcohol Free Policy

Consummare High School is a drug- and alcohol-free institution. The possession, use, distribution, or being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or unauthorized controlled substances is strictly prohibited on school grounds, at school-sponsored events, and during any virtual or in-person academic activity.

  • Prescription medications must be used only as legally prescribed and may not be shared with others.
  • Being impaired on campus or during a class session is grounds for immediate removal and disciplinary review.
  • Distribution of any controlled substance on school premises will be reported to authorities and results in immediate expulsion.

Policy Updates — September 2026

  • Academic Withdrawal Policy: Students who accumulate two or more recorded absences may initiate a self-withdrawal from a course while it is in progress, resulting in a "W" grade. For withdrawals outside of this threshold or for other circumstances, students must submit a formal request via the My Requests page.
  • Digital Library Access: Access to the digital library is restricted to current students using their Student ID and a personal PIN created upon their initial login. Faculty members are provided unique access credentials via automated email.
  • Tuition and Payments: Tuition is assessed on a per-class basis, with specific fees clearly displayed during the secure Base44 Payments checkout process. Prepaid tuition slots may be applied, and a formal payment receipt will be delivered via email.
  • Mastery Exams: Certain courses may require the completion of a 50-question mastery exam to activate course materials. Access to these exams requires verification of the student's School ID.
  • Communication and Records: All in-app messaging between students and instructors is permanent and immutable. Additionally, all manual grade adjustments are documented in an audit trail that records the user, timestamp, and specific changes made to the record.
  • Incomplete Grades: A grade of "I" (Incomplete) will automatically convert to an "F" (Fail) if not resolved within four weeks of the term's end.

Policy Updates — October 2026

  • Attendance and Withdrawal: Students are required to attend live class sessions as recorded by instructors. Students who accrue two or more absences may elect to self-withdraw from a course while it is in progress, resulting in a "W" grade; formal withdrawal requests for other circumstances must be submitted via the My Requests portal.
  • Digital Library Access: Access to the institutional digital library is restricted to currently enrolled students via their Student ID and a personal PIN. Instructors will receive their credentials via automated email.
  • In-App Communication: All messaging between students and instructors is permanent and immutable. Once sent, messages cannot be edited or deleted by either party and remain tied to the specific course context.
  • Academic Integrity and Grading: All manual grade adjustments are subject to a permanent audit trail. Furthermore, an incomplete grade ("I") will automatically convert to a failing grade ("F") if not resolved within four weeks. The institution maintains strict policies against academic dishonesty, including plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
  • Institutional Accreditation Documentation: To support accreditation efforts, all course syllabi, quizzes, and exams are auto-filed as immutable accreditation documents. The Staff Syllabus Archive provides access to these locked snapshots for administrative review.

Policy Updates — November 2026

  • Attendance and Withdrawal Policy: Students may record absences per class meeting via instructor verification. If a student accrues two or more absences, they may exercise the option to self-withdraw from a course, resulting in a "W" grade. This option is available only while the course is in progress and prior to the issuance of a final grade. For withdrawals falling below this threshold or requested for other reasons, formal requests must be submitted through the My Requests page.

  • Academic Integrity and Grading Audit: To ensure transparency, every manual grade adjustment is recorded in a permanent, immutable audit trail documenting the modification, the actor, and the timestamp. Furthermore, all in-app messaging between students and instructors is archived as a permanent, non-editable record tied to the specific course.

  • Digital Resources and Tooling: Students have access to a variety of AI-driven study resources within the Course Hub, including auto-generated flashcards, a study tutor, and mini-lessons. Additionally, the Digital Library is available for student use, accessible via Student ID and a personal PIN created upon first visit.

  • Incomplete Grades: A grade of "I" (Incomplete) is issued at the discretion of the instructor. Any "I" grade that remains unresolved will automatically convert to a failing grade ("F") four weeks after the conclusion of the course.
